Welcome to Movie Monday, First Up - Harmony

 

 

 

 

 

Welcome to the First All new Movie Monday.

 

Now I don’t claim to be a movie critic nor do I want to be one, I just Love Movies.

 

I find the problem with critics is that that is their Job and as with any Job if you do the same thing in and out everyday you can lose perspective on your passion.

 

A critic may watch three films and each one may be similar either in theme or story or characters.

 

However to me and you the everyday movie watcher we will probably only watch one of those films.

If we were to listen to the critic they may say that the third film they watched was generic and yet to us it may be original.

 

Does this make sense.

 

Ok so with that in mind, Any opinions I voice here are simply what I thought of the film and You may well have a different opinion ( which is Good or the world would be a boring place indeed).

 

 

So My First Recommendation on the First Movie Monday will probaly be a divider.

 

I watched this yesterday on Sky Cinema here in the UK. 

 

Now on Sky the Film is called Otherworld, I tried googling it and it seems to Have Numerous Titles on its release worldwide.

:Immortal World

:Absolution

 

 

It was initially meant to be the First part of a Five part series.

 

The plot is that five babies were born each with their own individual power.

 

Harmony the title character of this film played by the Late Jessica Falkholt has the ability to take away others fears and anxiety's and yet by doing this puts herself in peril as the fears and anxiety consume her.

 

 

Now i have read reviews on IMDB giving this film a 1 rating and yet on the other end of the scale I have seen it given a 9/10.

What did I think of it?

 

Well I loved it, I found it different and maybe a Little Haunting.

 

The film may be a little disjointed in parts but I would have loved to have seen how the story progressed.

 

The late Jessica Falkholt plays the part well and I would like to give to much away but I found the Ending fulfilling.

 

I dont really understand the Hate that I saw for this film, But I fully understood the High scoring Reviews.

 

If a film doesnt grab me then Ill turn it off but this did and I happily watched and enjoyed it.

 

 

So check out Harmony or Otherworld or whatever it is called in your country and Let me know what you think of it.
